New sampler

I just was not happy with the red and yellow flower.  Colors are to bright and not as natural as I would like so I decided to start over.

Here you can see the pattern sketched out on a piece of wool I originally purchased for rug hooking.

Here is a close up of the turquoise circles.  To me they look like berries.

This is my first leaf.  Looks too much like a feather.  We will see how the second one comes out!
